It’s February 1 and we have two libraries joining our Cloud Library shared collection. A big hello to Mt. Carmel Public Library and Bismarck-Henning CUSD #1. We’re now up to 171 library agencies. The Cloud Library collection also broke a circulation record in the month of January with over 15,000 items checked out! Interested in learning what it would cost for your library to join? Email Lesley Zavediuk to receive a quote.

Did you hear? RbDigital has released updates for the iOS and Android Zinio for Libraries app making it much easier to use. Patrons can now access the IHLS collection and check out magazines from within the app. Are you still using the original Zinio app? Simply search for and download Zinio for Libraries from the Apple App Store or Google Play and be sure to log in with the same email address you used on the original Zinio app. Once you’ve logged in and your items have synced – you can delete the original Zinio app from your device. Check out the new Zinio Account Setup Flyer for more information.

The SHARE eResource Committee had a fabulous first meeting on Monday, January 25. To learn more about committee members and upcoming meeting dates, visit the eResource Committee page on the SHARE website.

During the first SHARE eResource Committee meeting, it was decided that we should gather a bit more information from SHARE membership regarding a possible group purchase of wifi hotspots, so we’ll be sending out a formal survey soon. As you start considering whether or not your library might be interested in lending wifi hotspots, you may want read this Sprint/Manage Mobility Hotspot Fact Sheet.
