SHARE Bibliographic & Cataloging Standards Committee
The SHARE Bibliographic & Cataloging Standards Committee currently has two openings! The Committee is looking for enthusiastic, thoughtful, and forward-thinking volunteers with full cataloging permissions. Are you interested in cataloging and shaping SHARE policies? Do you want to represent libraries like yours and provide leadership in the larger library community?
The SHARE Bibliographic & Cataloging Standards Committee meets quarterly at 10 a.m. on the third Friday of Jan., Apr., July, and Oct.
SHARE Executive Council
The SHARE Executive Council has an opening! We are looking for volunteers for a special library representative. Would you be interested in setting direction, policy, and procedures for the operation of SHARE, on behalf of lllinois libraries? It is also a great opportunity to build relationships with other library staff, represent your organization in a leadership capacity, and contribute to the growth of SHARE.
SHARE Executive Council meets every other month, at 2:00 p.m. on the first Thursday of every even month, with special meetings as needed. They also represent SHARE at the IHLS Member Day and Members’ Group Meetings.
