It’s almost renewal time for eRead Illinois participants! This year, in an effort to simplify 3M Cloud Library billing for IHLS and also for our member libraries, we’re going to move the annual agreement you sign to the system’s fiscal year (July 1 – June 30), rather than the calendar year. To achieve that goal, we’ll be renewing your agreement for only 6 months in January and then renewing again for a full year on July 1. We promise the process will be easy and you’ll only have to fill out the renewal form once with your current IPLAR data. Questions or comments? Contact Lesley and she’ll be happy to answer them!
Big 3M News: You may have heard last week that 3M sold its library services division to Bibliotheca (http://goo.gl/HJoSz7). Reps from 3M called us personally to give us the news and to assure us that this is a very good thing! Bibliotheca is a company dedicated to library services, which means they will invest even more time and money in the 3M Cloud Library eBook platform. Stay tuned for more updates.
