The Big Transition

Great news everyone! I will be staying on at IHLS in a limited capacity until the end of the year. What does that mean, exactly? Starting on Monday, September 18, I’ll be available a few days a week to answer all of your eResource questions. I will be out off the office for a short three-week hiatus (August 26 - September 17). During that time, here’s how things will work:

  • RBdigital (Zinio or OneClickDigital) support inquiries can be sent to yourrbdigitalsupport@recordedbooks.com. Questions about magazine subscriptions or pricing can be sent directly to our rep, Bill Schwarting: bschwarting@recordedbooks.com

  • For now, we’re postponing the RBdigital and Cloud Library User Groups scheduled for the end of September.

  • eResource Billing and Statistics reports will come out later in September, rather than during the first week of the month. In October, our normal billing and reporting schedule will resume.

  • If you have a matter that isn’t pressing, feel free to email me during my little hiatus and I’ll get back to you when I return to work.

  • Starting the week of September 18, it will be easiest to reach me on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Of course, you can email me anytime and I’ll get back to you as soon as I can.

For SHARE members

  • We won’t be purchasing any new content for the Cloud Library from August 26 - September 17. Multiple copies for popular items will still be purchased during this time. Shopping for the Cloud Library will resume on Monday, September 18th. I’ll continue to make purchases from your shopping carts on Mondays after 12pm at that time.

  • Cloud Library Support inquiries can be sent to Chris Dawdy or emailed directly to Cloud
