End of Term Due Date
Once your selected date has been submitted, no items will be due beyond that date as they are checked out.
Stop Patron Holds
All patrons affiliated with your school will have their ability to place holds temporarily suspended one week prior to the pause in IHLS Delivery service. Any requested items would remain in your delivery tote/bag until delivery resumes, potentially delaying their return to the owning library and significantly impacting other patrons awaiting those materials. Therefore, all current active holds will be canceled at that time as well.
Request Manager
Your library’s system-wide lending option will be disabled one week prior to the summer pause in IHLS Delivery service. This will allow holds to automatically move to the next library on the routing list. The system-wide lending option will be reactivated one week before IHLS Delivery resumes.
Summer Schedule
If your library remains open during the summer, you must make arrangements directly with IHLS Delivery at your library’s hub to receive delivery service. You must also contact SHARE directly if you would like your patrons to retain system-wide hold access.
Reminder
IHLS delivery is paused during summer break dates as announced; however, if you would like to receive delivery service to your school on one or more of these dates, you may request an adjustment by contacting us on the IHLS Delivery Help Desk.
