SHARE is introducing a new Aspen feature called Year in Review! This feature uses patron reading history to create a personalized slideshow that summarizes reading habits such as favorite authors, top series, and reading recommendations. Patrons will not see this feature if reading history is not enabled or they checked out less than 6 titles. This feature has been enabled for library staff starting Dec. 23 and will be available for patrons starting Jan. 1 and will continue until Jan. 31. Below is an example of a Year in Review slide.
You can customize the Year in Review by going to Aspen Admin→Local Catalog Enrichment→Year in Review. You can alter the title, slide show design, and even write a custom banner notification! If you would like edit the promo message for Year in Review, make sure to click on the "English" tab to bring up an editable text box. Visit the Aspen Help Center for instructions.
Patrons can find their Year in Review in their account menus.
