Cloud Library participants may be seeing a few intermittent issues since the Polaris upgrade. Patrons may be unable to log in to the Cloud Library or will see an “invalid authentication” error occasionally. When the PAC goes down, the Cloud Library is unable to authenticate and can get confused. Our fabulous IT team and Polaris are working on the issue. When it occurs, you may want to have patrons wait 15 – 20 minutes, and then try again. Usually, the issue is resolved even quicker than that!
Did you know? The Cloud Library team is working on a report that may allow me to single out items from the Suggestions List by library. If it works, I’ll be able to send your library a spreadsheet once a month listing the items that YOUR patrons suggested! Stay tuned…

Zinio and OneClickDigital users will be prompted to upgrade to the new RBdigital app in the coming months and this is your chance to get a tour of the new interface. Zinio for School library participants: be sure to return your renewal form to me by Friday, May 5. We need a minimum of 10 school libraries to participate in our group purchase and we are right on the cusp of that based on the renewals I have received. Renewal forms for public libraries will be going out later this month.
Libraries in MyMediaMall should have received a renewal agreement on Friday, April 21. Please return your form to renew or not renew your participation in MyMediaMall for FY2018 by Friday, May 5. We’re also working to create a formal governance structure for the MyMediaMall group - more information about the progress of that work will be coming during the month of May.
