Retailer exclusive editions
Some retailers release what they call exclusive editions. Some of these have additional content, but some are the same as the regular edition, with just an edition statement added.
If your item has a retailer's edition statement, but otherwise matches an existing record, you may attach to the existing record.
Add the retailer's edition statement in MARC tag 250 only if it appears on the disc label or container. Do not add if it appears on a wrapper or other material that will be discarded. Do not put the edition statement in brackets.
