The IHLS Carbondale hub will be closed on Monday, April 8, 2024, due to the Solar Eclipse. Much of the IHLS service area serviced by our Carbondale hub is in the path of totality, and the Illinois Department of Transportation anticipates increased traffic volume on rural roads and highways in southern Illinois for the Solar Eclipse. Due to the large number of expected delays in traffic, the decision has been made to cancel deliveries for that day and close the building. Delivery will resume the following day.
