SHARE Satisfaction Survey
If you haven’t had a chance to fill out the survey, please take a moment to do so. We--both the SHARE committees and staff—really do want to know what you think about the current state of SHARE, and plan to use your opinions and comments to help us make SHARE even better. SHARE/Polaris classes
Need a class? Can’t wait for one to be scheduled? SHARE staff have the ability—and equipment—to travel to you. Whether it’s for barcoding or cataloging classes, circulation or reports classes, or electronic resources training sessions, if you have five people in your area that need a class, SHARE staff can come to your area and provide that class. For cataloging classes, please contact Joan Bauer. For circulation classes, please contact Sue Pearson. For training assistance with electronic resources, please contact Lesley Zavediuk. Or, for any of the above, contact Chris Dawdy and I’ll head you in the right direction!
ILLINET Interlibrary Loan (ILL) Traffic Survey
Since a couple of people have asked, Yes, there is an Interlibrary Loan survey you need to complete. The good news is, though, that it isn’t due until March 31, 2017. Here’s a link to the information about it and to the survey.
Dates to take note of
Please note that when we encourage you to sign up for an event in L2—whether it’s a training session, a chat, or a meeting—there’s a reason! For public libraries, when you have to determine your CE hours for the IPLAR, if you’ve signed up for all of the events you’ve attended, they will show up on your CE report. The same is true for all other library types—you just have other reasons for using that information.
