In the event of a committee opening, the opportunity will be announced to the SHARE membership. Potential volunteers should provide a statement of interest. After deliberation, the committee chair will decide the best candidate based on those who volunteer to serve. The intent is for the committee to be representative of the SHARE membership, with deciding factors that may include member library type, size, and geographic location. SHARE is committed to diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility, and seeks volunteers who offer unique perspectives.
