After an update you may find, when trying to open Internet Explorer, it closes quickly and Microsoft Edge opens instead preventing access to Polaris. To return Internet Explorer to its normal function, follow the steps below.
In Microsoft Edge
- 1 Click the 3 dots in the upper right-hand corner on the window.
- 2 Click Settings.
- 3 Click Default Browser in the left-hand menu. The menu may be hidden under 3 dots on the left-hand side near the top.
- 4 Select Never under the "Let Internet Explorer open sites in Microsoft Edge" drop down menu.
- 5 Close Microsoft Edge.
Polaris should now open in Internet Explorer correctly. If you continue to have problem please contact IHLS IT for further help.
